Basketball Playoff Update...

We're out! :O( In the 3rd round, we didn't cut it. Everyone on the team did an "OK" job but it just wasn't enough for the team we played. It was a good matchup as this team has a lot of the same strengths and weaknesses but their point guards were just on fire and ours were not. Bethany did pretty well. She is so consistent in her defense (give or take here and there) but when she loses confidence, it is hard for her to snap out of that funk she gets in. She really gets down on herself for letting the team down as if she is the only one who misses her shots or blocks. So having an average day may work with certain teams but not the top teams that are now left in the playoffs. It was a good game but we are sad to see our season end. We do thank God that she got to shine for a while. Till next year....And then enters Hannah, who will finally be allowed to play in this league. It's another chapter...to be continued....
