Ahh weekends!

We went to see Grandma Joy at her beach house on Friday. The girls enjoyed it and we played some games, had lunch and then the girls got a little slap happy so we left. Then Saturday, Todd wanted to surprise the girls so we hopped in the car and didn't tell them where we were going. We ended up at Citywalk in Universal Studios where we had lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe, went bowling, shopping, took lots of photos, went to a Teen Comedy Club tryout and walked out when a 19 year old started talking about how evil and stupid Bush and Cheney were. Cheap laughs but they aren't in office anymore so not only was it very un-original but not really relevant anymore. Lame! The girls had lots of fun and it was a good day. We went to church today and then swam and had a BBQ. So nice solid summer weekend! Hope you had a great one too. God bless.
