Well, we had a nice Easter with just my parents and Joy. I put a turkey in the oven, then went to church and came home to a house that smelled like Thanksgiving! :) We had a nice dinner and the girls had an Easter Egg Hunt where the bonus eggs were filled with God's Word pertaining to His Resurrection> They got to trade them for prizes when they read the Scriptures. It was nice.
Also nice was the fact that Todd took the week off! We started out azt Ventura Harbor for a nice lunch. Then we went to the Carousel where they have fun games to play where you can earn tickets to trade for prizes. Wouldn't you know it, right off the bat, Todd won a jackpot of 1000 tickets for the girls to trade for prizes! It was like Vegas without all the smoke and drunk people! ;)
Then we went to the Santa Barbara zoo the next day and to Rusty's Pizza for lunch. Very fun. And then the next day, we are off to Universal Studios! YAY~! We all had a lot of fun.
Then we changed gears a bit to attend Aunt Sandy's mom's funeral. :( She died surrounded by her children and Joy on Monday after Easter. So Friday we attended her funeral. It wwas a nice service and great to see so many old family and friends at the reception at Kip and Sandy's. The saddest part of life is that death but praise God that she seemed to accept His Son before she died and they have that assurance. Amen!
We are winding down now. Getting some work around the house done and relaxing after a wild week. Have to pick the curriculum for the girls next year. We are shifting to a Christ-centered curriculum and I am really excited about that. But a bit nervous to leave the format we have now where they have more testing and accountability. I will put my trust in God for the girls' education like I do everything else! Hope you are all doing well. God bless to you all.

Awesome! Sounds like quite a whirlwind of things! So, glad that you were able to enjoy and do so much together. We sure do miss you all! Love all the new pics! The girls are getting taller, Aaaah! Love you guys bunches!!
