FIRE SEASON AND HOMESCHOOL DON'T MIX

It's back to school time and the girls have been off to a slow start this year. The girls just did not want to get back into it as much, especially Bethany. But we have a huge fire in the area which has become a major distraction to boot! Both girls stop and look out the window every half hour and once they interrupt their studies, that is it. It takes another hour to get them fully focused again! Times like this make me re-think my decision to homeschool them. I wonder if this is the best arena for them at times. So I'll continue to take these questions to God for clarity and strength!
