Not much to report - so here's a photo of my crazy carrot loving dog...

I debated whether or not I should just check in each week to let you know what's up or wait until something exciting happens. So, I decided if I wait until something exciting happens, I probably won't be back for months! So, here I am. Let's see. Bethany had another game this week. She scored her first basket of the season! Yeah! She is really much better at defense than offense but if her nerves settle, she is great at both. I think a boost in confidence makes all the difference for her to go for it and take the risks to throw a basket in or steal the ball. She's really too polite for basketball. It is such a fast-paced and intense-high energy sport that she tends to get lost a bit but she is getting better. Her team lost this week. :O( They had one player out totally and one got injured in the second period so the girls were just so tired because they had to play all the periods. That puts them at a disadvantage when they are running back and forth on a hard court without a break. The other team had 3-4 strong players to our one or two, not to mention rested lungs and legs between their breaks. So we were not really evenly matched up but that's ok. We'll get better. Todd is doing well as coach but he gets frustrated too with the league's rules and such. Either way, it is still lots of fun. The girls are so cute and I think the sport is really good for their self-esteem. As long as they don't become poor sports. It's all good. So other than sports and shopping for a toilet for our remodel, nothing much going on. I know, life is exciting! Hey, our new toilet claims to be able to flush a bucket of golf balls! How exciting is that? We had fun at Home Depot with the sales people on that purchase, if you can imagine. So I will post later. For now, take care and enjoy your lives. God bless. Love Lori
