Well, what can I say? A picture is worth a thousand words! She had so much fun and was SO SURPRISED! We had about 12 girls ranging in age from 7 - 11! She loved it! After church, Todd took her to her favorite pet store to hold puppies (we do that a lot but not because we are in the market for another-yet!) and that killed some time and they went to lunch while Bethany and I blew up balloons and worked up a sweat just in time for everyone to arrive! We had a big curtian of gold foil streamers covering the hallway entry where all the girls hid until we gave them the signal and she SCREAMED in excitement when all her friends came scrambling out! She was thrilled and so thankful. I think she came up to me about 7-8 times saying "I didn't know you were going to do that! Thank you so much Mommmy!" and I had to remind her that it was all her sister's idea and Mom and Dad were just helping out. It went great. To top it off, Todd got her a child-sized collector's edition "Felix the Cat" Martin guitar! (See photo). She was so excited and is so ready to play! She had so much fun and was very blessed! So Praise God it all went much better than I planned.
I am so happy she had a blast! Thanks for keeping us informed too! I can't believe how big the girls are getting! and how precious and wonderful that she couldn't get enough out of saying thank you! Wish we could have been there!
ReplyDeleteHannah looks so happy. It was so great that Beth wanted to bless her by planning such a great party. We were going to call but figured she would be too busy having fun with her friends. We love you all and wish we could have been there in person.
