Bethany started basketball for CYBA (Camarillo Youth basketball Org) and had her first game Saturday. They won! Yeah! They are the Bruins as you can tell by the uniforms. Todd managed to coach his first real game to victory but really, it was all one girl on the team. Her name is Simone and she scored 6 of the 7 baskets the team managed to win with! So we are happy to have a fearless and assertive player on our team. All the girls are really nice. Being the first game, we needed lots of suitcases because there was lots of traveling going on! Bethany got a bit discouraged to get the ball twice only to forget and take a few extra steps. But they'll learn. It is so cool how they just connect automatically being on a team. I love that! Anyway, I'll fill you in later as we get further into the season.
Way to go Bethany!! Great job on your win for your first game! Good luck with it, I am sure your daddy is proud! You are getting so tall! I am sure you are probably already taller than me, although that is saying much since I am so short! Love you all!!!
