Animal Rescue took bunny

But she left me a nasty note saying that the bunny is dying and that our dog "mauled" it and it was cold and wet. Like I am supposed to blow dry it and put blankets on it? Read post below for more details but basically, I tried to save the bunny! And my dog who normally loves to eat little bunnies, was uncharacteristically sweet and gentle and I told the lady that she was very gentle when I called her and left a message. But she insisted that my dog MAULED it. There isn;t much I can do about the bunny habitat in my backyard. Dogs have dominion, sorry! I do what I can but they are basically going on instinct and I cannot control that. Not sure what she expected me to do and I am sad that the bunny may not make it but didn't care too much for the scolding when I tried to help. Rest in peace little guy!
