Well, school is almost over - YEAH! Homeschooling has been quite an experience this year. The girls and I really enjoyed it for the most part. I highly recommend it to anyone as an alternative in education. The down sides were lack of friends and social activities for them and more grating on each others nerves for all of us and lack of time and exercise for Mommy! But this was a learning curve for all of us. The first year was really a trial and error type situation. Now that we all know what to expect, I can begin supplementing and enriching their education further by adding more activities and taking more trips. I just wanted to see that they were really learning this way and absorbing it all. After we get some testing results back, I will know how much or how little extra we have to do and therefore, how much more (or less) time will be consumed by homeschool. So I look forward to next year. Bethany will be in Middle School and Hannah will be in 3rd grade. I'm excited!
Our dogs are getting big. We take them next weekend to claim their prize they won on Daily Puppy's contest. They get to be photographed by professional dog photographers and will be featured on their site! Kind of cool. Now all I have to do is bathe them and brush them - not an easy task. I was told not to groom them just before the shoot because they tend to look shaved and not like themselves. So I will just groom them the best I can and we'll have fun with it. I'll post photos as soon as I can.
We are not doing much else around the house. We still have painting to do and some knobs on the drawers, wall light switch plates and sockets and we need more furniture now that our rooms look bare! Other than that, we are mostly done. Just taking a break but we'll eventually get back into it and either hire someone (not looking forward to that) or doing it ourselves (REALLY not looking forward to that!). So hopefully, by summer, it will all be done. But that is not too far off so who knows? I hope you are all doing great! Love you! God bless.

Beth is going into middle school and Hannah will be in third grade, no way!! Oye ve! Crazy! That is so cool about the puppies too, that should be fun, some prep, but fun. I can't wait to see what the house looks like when it is finished, hopefully I will see it in person before you decorate it again. Great to see you are all doing well, love you all, miss you bunches!
