Todd's Birthday Yeah! He didn't want to do anything special so we just hung out. I wanted to have a cake party but he wanted to lay low. (I know, isn't that selfish? ;o)) Anyway, we went to his favorite restaurant for breakfast, yep Denny's. Then he relaxed all day and I cooked and cleaned! I made him fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy and a cake. His mom, Kip and Sandy all came over at different times to wish him Happy Birthday and Dave and Jenny and Grammy all called as well. All in all, it was a good day for him. Kind of hard to have your birthday so close to Mother's Day.
So for Mother's Day, we went to church and then had Kelly, Ron and Grandma over for a Mother's Day brunch. (My mom went out of town so we celebrated Friday at the mall!) We had a nice visit, short and sweet! But then we went to the movies and saw Disney's Earth which really showed God's glory but of course, gave Him no credit at all. We did! Then we relaxed in the spa and watched another movie. All in all, a relaxing weekend. Hope you all had a great Mother's DAY! God bless the moms!
