Lucy loves to eat baby bunnies as well as other rodents she finds in our yard. We have always scolded her for it so she had started to "hide" the bunnies in not so hidden spots but she thought they were hidden. But today, just like the first time she found baby bunnies, she gently held it in her mouth and came up to the window and gently dropped a live baby bunny at the doorstep and stared through the window at us until we came to see what it was.
So we moved it into a box and called Animal Wildlife Rescue but nobody is there! I am going to leave the bunny in the box until we get home later and then I found a bunch of rabbit pellets in the back by tons of loose grass and weeds and I am going to bring him back there and put our dogs on the other side to see what happens. Hopefully, the little guy will make it. I am going to try to get to the pet store to get some kitten milk to try to feed it if it is clear it was abandoned. I'll keep you posted. To be continued....
